I remember that every time I called Dick he used to greet me with שלום (meaning peace in Hebrew)my brother. Most of our conversations revolved around Hawaiian. Music and sometimes Western swing. I would play music through the phone for Dick's enjoyment, I chose songs with driving steel guitars. he was always impressed of what he heard
He used to say man, I can never play steel like these boys. I visited Dick and even slept a few times at their house, I also enjoyed a conversation with his lovely wife Ruth. I miss you brother Dick and שלום again.
