Greenwood Memorial Park hosted its annual Dia de Los Muertos event on November 2nd.  Guests of all ages enjoyed an exhibition from the San Diego Lowrider Council, mariachi and refreshments.  A Latin-American custom, Dia de Los Muertos, celebrates the lives of the deceased with a party atmosphere including food, drink and entertainment.  On this day, it is believed that the dead are awakened from their eternal sleep to share in the celebrations with their loved ones.
