Ines C. Leon

May 15, 1936 - April 24, 2022

Ines Leon, a Loving, Loyal, Caring, Friend, Mother/ Father, was born on 5/15/1936 in Canelas Durango Mexico to her parents Ponsiano Cardenas and Maria Concepcion Rodriquez Diaz. Later, she became a step daughter to Thomas Cruz who she held dearly. Ines was the 4th of 7 children growing up. She lived in Mexicali Mexico, San Luis Rio Colorado Sonora Mexico and San Diego, CA. She married Baltazar Leon Machado in the year of 1957 in Mexicali Mexico. Then they moved to San Luis Rio Colorado Mexico, where they welcomed their four sons. She Widowed in 1975. Ines owned and managed her own house cleaning services in the San Diego, CA area until she retired. She was a member of Assamblea de Dios with Pastor Leonel Korea, then became a member of Palabra en Accion with Pastor William Jhandi were she was known as the grandmother of the church. She always stated to keep the faith, trust the Lord and go to church. Ines enjoyed reading her bible, listening to worship music (her favorite song was Levanto Mis Manos by Jesus Adrian Romero, Suergeme by Jesus Adrian Romero) and attending church events. She also loved giving financial support to organizations that supported children with disabilities. Ines passed on April 24, 2022 and will forever be in our hearts and memories. May she rest in eternal peace with her husband, first born son Jose Guadalupe Leon, granddaughter Azucena Leon, her mother, step father, siblings who have gone before her and our Lord Jesus Christ. She is Survived by her children, Baltazar Leon, Jose Luis Leon, Eduardo Leon. Grandchildren, Inez A. Ramirez, Yuseli Gonzalez, Baltazar Leon, Zujhei Long, Eduardo Leon, Mayra Negrete, Brenda G. Da Valz, Alysia Leon, Shana Leon. Great grandchildren, Zeni Ramirez, Zanaa Inez Ramirez, Yazmin Gonzalez, Kaylie Gonzalez, Marko Gonzalez, Lucas Long, Ezra Long, Jocelyn Negrete, Jannai Negrete, Ximena Da Valz and Siblings, Esperanza Ferandez, Adelina C. Diaz, Eloisa Cruz, Gerado Cruz.
