Jorge Antonio Duran

November 12, 1963 - May 30, 2022

Jorge Antonio Duran passed away on May 30th 2022 surrounded by his loving family at his home in San Diego. Jorge leaves behind his beautiful wife of 36 years. He always found joy telling their story of how they met when he was working at a hospital on 4th of July. He dedicated his entire life to provide for her and his children. He worked hard from a very young age and would often say “I’ll rest when I’m dead” Jorge was an amazing Father to his two sons and daughter but an even more amazing Grandpa to his 6 grandchildren. He loved them very much and did everything to make them smile. Before passing he said to “make every day count, don’t be mad at people, don’t be sad, because you only have a limited amount of time to be beautiful in your heart and always stay positive” Jorge always made time for everyone and loved sharing stories and facts about pretty much anything. He was incredibly smart and there was nothing he couldn’t fix or build. He touched so many lives by just being the wonderful and helpful man he was. He would always say “thank you my friend” let’s continue his legacy by living like my Dad Jorge and remember to slow down in life and be there for anyone who needs a hand just like he always did.
