Margarita Zasueta

Margarita Zasueta 75, a resident of La Mesa, passed away on March 9th, due to complications with cancer, with her family by her side. She was born to the late Teodoro and Guadalupe Crisostomo, July 13, 1946 in Agana, Guam. She graduated from Regina Ceoli in 1964. Margaret married Richard Zasueta in 1966. They lived together in Germany, while Richard served in the army. Settling back at home in San Diego, they lived in Santee, Fletcher Hills, and La Mesa for fifty-five years. Margaret is survived by her son Chris Zasueta and her husband Richard Zasueta. She is also survived by her brother Ted Crisostomo and his wife Tina and host of cousins and nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her two loving sons Rich and Raymond, and two loving sisters Elizabeth and Mae. Margaret was a religious person and loved to pray. She loved music, gardening, and was very athletic and competitive in sports. She was also was known by several nicknames from friends and other groups. She had several jobs over the years and made lots of friends and worked twenty-five years with San Diego County Sheriff's Department. She also provided lots of love and support for her family. Margaret also had a strong heart. Just because she is no longer with us, it doesn't mean she lost her fight. A celebration of life will be celebrated at 10:00 am on April 30, 2022. The memorial service will be held at St. Martin's Church, 7710 El Cajon Blvd. 91942.
