I'll miss him and his kind spiritness. It was always a pleasure to talk with him on the telephone.
It has been good seeing him over the past 5 year's. The occasions were sad because he came to Texas for his younger brothers funerals. My dad jimmy and Uncle Dan. We'll miss all of these fine Sloan brothers. Hopefully we'll come together in the near future for happier occasions. Sorry we couldn't be there with you during this difficult time. Our uncle Robert will always be the amazing Uncle, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather who provided a beautiful spirit and displayed so much grace! It is truly nothing but a pure blessing having you as the tremendous man you have been to all of us in our God given minds, body and soul. I have known you so long you seem like family like your brother Winston who married my cousin Ella Fay and your brother Jimmy was married to my classmate Nina Ruth and we were all from Hillsboro, TX and attended Peabody School. We resided in the same area of San Diego for a number of years. We are both retired Navy Chiefs. Rest In Peace Chief!
I remember all the pictures that grandma love to take why are you we're in the background snapping away. I remember spending every Christmas, Thanksgiving, and even Halloween with you. I will miss hearing you coming to door making your whistle can you give me a hug and calling me your sweetie pie. I will miss the lectures that you gave that no one else want to listen to but in mine because I know it was the truth. You have provided me with all of the tools to become a wonderful are working Woman. From this day on I will be working on being yeah sweetie pie I making you proud.
