Tour Our Facilities

We’d love you to come visit and take some time to wander around the beautiful grounds at Greenwood. We think you’ll agree that its outstanding natural beauty is one of this facility’s finest features.

Home to hundreds of plants and trees spread across 132 acres, Greenwood is noted for having the second oldest tree of its kind in San Diego: a Moreton Bay Fig that we call our “Tree of Life.”

With special areas set aside for firefighters, fraternal organizations, Greeks, military groups and members of the Jewish faith, families from all walks of life lay their loved ones to rest at Greenwood — and their legacy is our honor. Once you’ve paid a visit, we believe you’ll have peace of mind knowing the memory of your loved ones will be preserved in a serene, spiritually uplifting setting.

Tour Our Grounds

Mausoleums

At the time of its construction in 1958, the Bible Mausoleum was the largest of its kind, providing for more than 46,000 burial crypts. Greenwood is also home to Cathedral Mausoleum and Shalom Mausoleum.

Mirror Lake

Our newest development is a cremation garden in the heart of Greenwood Memorial Park with beautiful fountains, lush landscaping, and gentle flowing streams providing a sense of tranquility and peace that are unmatched in San Diego County. Mirror Lake has many options to suit all tastes and budgets, with traditional family estates, granite niches, benches and pedestals.

Serenity Expansion

The Serenity expansion features private family estates, pedestals and lawn crypts.

Chapels

Greenwood has three active chapels (Garden, Salli Lynn, and Last Supper).

Guadalupe II, Our Lady of Guadalupe and Garden of Tribute

These beautiful gardens are some of the most highly visible, visited, and decorated gardens in our park. Each features double-depth and side-by-side inventory to accommodate families seeking anywhere from one to 20 or more properties next to one another. The Garden of Tribute features a magnificent ocean view that also includes the Coronado Bridge and Coronado Islands.

Cathedral Monument and Cathedral Monument 2

Cathedral Monument and Cathedral Monument 2 are prestigious sections designed to provide upright memorialization options. Cathedral Island has room for many build-to-suit private estates.
