I worked with Doug for the last five or so years.He was always soft spoken and had a witty story telling style to his description of events, and jokes. He was always pragmatic, and quick to help. He was always calm, even though work was stressful. He was very good at what he did as well. I always respected his professional opinion on matters.He is, and will be, missed by me and all in our office.
I cannot say anything better than what the first entry said, but, I do want to say that everything she wrote about Doug is absolutely true. His light will continue to shine, because of his wonderful example and through his wonderful family.
Doug was one of the kindest people I have ever met. His family was so important to him and he was so proud of each and every one. He loved the energy and love of life that Betty enjoyed with him. He thought each daughter was so talented and special, often relating their experiences with me as we talked about children and my grandchildren. He was proud to be from the midwest but loved living in California. His love of God and his church was always evident in everything he said and did. He will be missed by everyone that ever met him, because, he was so special.
