Keir Kimbrough was my grandsons coach just before his passing. I remember my daughter, in San Diego, saying Aiden’s coach is from Ambridge, PA big Steelers fan! I grew up in Aliquippa Pa so I get it! I had the pleasure of meeting Keir when he was Aiden’s coach. Whatever the players Keir coached achieve I believe they will always respect and cherish him being their Coach even if for a short time. I met Keir in Nov 1988. He was a light in this dark world. He always has a smile and something funny to say. He became my brother when we first met and over the years had occasional conversations. I love you little bro. I’m sure gonna miss you. I keep up Cyncyn. Rest Easy Till We Meet Again! ♥️♥️
Keir….what a special individual. He was naturally kind, accompanied by an irresistible smile. His laugh always sounded as if he were being tickled. You could feel his presence from miles away.
I knew Keir and his adoring wife Cynthia by means of one of his dearest friends/former colleague. We spent some of the younger years of our lives around this beautiful couple. They were true representatives of togetherness. Keir was respectable & gentle.
May God’s healing touch provide strength & comfort to his family during this process. I pray for precious memories to be stored at the forefront of your minds with each passing day. Stay blessed and know that you had an MVP that played on your team.

I met Keir back in the early 90s where our boys played football together for the MOBB. We then coached together and had some amazing times. We laughed and shared food. #feedthebeast... we even laughed together that year the Chargers knocked those Steelers out of the playoffs to go on to the Superbowl. We have never lost contact and I was always so proud of his accomplishments as a coach and as a hard working man. We would occasionally chat about the food I ate, being plant based and then would see some Asparagus on the grill with that lobster. He made me laugh. I will definitely miss his play by play on the Sunday games with the steelers... I am still in shock... I love you brother... You take over that team in heaven and teach them that singlewing with an unbalanced line...
