Aldo Alexander Aguilar Tinajero's Obituary
II Timothy 4:7-8
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
Aldo Alexander Aguilar Tinajero (SuperAldo) was born on August 27, 2001 to loving parents German Aguilar Delgado and Carmen Whendolin Tinajero. When he was only one year old, he was diagnosed with Juvenile Astrocytoma and had to endure an extremely risky surgery to remove a tumor. Unfortunately during this surgery, Aldo suffered a stroke that the doctors did not think he would fully recover from. Not only did he recover, but he lived every second of life with endearment. At fourteen years old he lost his vision as a result of another tumor growth. Despite not being able to see with his eyes, he always reminded others that he sees with his heart.
Aldo is a testament of resilience and hope. He graduated from Valhalla High School and was enrolled in a special education transition program for ongoing independent learning. Additionally, Aldo was an active member of his church the Iglesia Hispana Nueva Vida, the Braille Institute and San Diego Brain Tumor Foundation.
Aldo endured numerous rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and other treatments for the 20 years of his life; he battled cancer his entire life.
Everyone that he met walked away from the encounter with a warm heart and an appreciation for the things that matter most – family, friends, faith, hope.
Aldo's life, love, and legacy will be cherished by Parents : German Aguilar Delgado, Carmen Whendolin Tinajero; brothers: German Uriel Aguilar Tinajero, Sebastian Aguilar Tinajero; grandparents: Alvaro Aguilar, Aracely Aguilar, Carmen Abitia, Felix Tinajero;
