Aleipata Sola's Obituary
Aleipata Sola, A proud Samoan, Brother, Loving husband, father and grandfather, entered God’s good graces on February 19th, 2023. Born in American Samoa to Sola Pava Lagai and Laginanā Misa as the 4th child out of 10, he was raised in the village of Fitiuta on the island of Manu’a until moving to Utulei at the age of 5. After graduating from Samoana High School (Go Sharks!), he went on to join the United States Marine Corps, serving for 8 years and obtaining the rank of Sergeant. And In the summer of 1979, he married his love, Maluifale Faiai, and together they went on to raise 9 kids. Aleipata loved his wife, his kids, his many nephews and nieces and most of all, his Grandchildren. Never missing a chance to spoil them! He was a devoted Christian and long time Deacon of Ketesemane Ole Fiafia where he remained in service of until his untimely passing. As his time with us has gone, we remember the man that he was. A hard headed, stern man. A jokester when he wanted to be and a proud man, always. But most of all, He was our family. And he was our friend. Gone, but never forgotten; we cherish who he was and always will be in our hearts, Rest in Love Aleipata Sola
