Al and Lois were like second parents to me when I first moved to Date Street as a child. My Mom worked full time and entrusted them to watch over me and my sister and theirs was the only house I could visit after school for the first few years we resided on Date Street. I absolutely adored them both and Al fondly referred to me as his one of his daughters. My heart broke that I was not able to be physically present at his home-going service in order to pay my respects and honor him. But I was definitely there in spirit. Continued prayers for Wendy, Thala and all Al's family. I truly love you and words can't express how dearly you'll will be missed. Rest in Peace!
