Rest in Peace, Joy. Those of us who were on the front lines during the “Plague Years” of AIDS will keep you in our hearts. At a time in which the miseries of not only the disease but the hatred and hysteria that accompanied it you were a steady friend. We shared those times and loved so many of those same beautiful young people. If gratitude is prayer, there will be plenty coming to you. A thank you to your family for sharing so much of your mother with us.
