Alicia Solis Bravo's Obituary
We are sad to announce that our beloved Mother and Nana, Alicia Solis Bravo passed in the comfort of her Chula Vista home surrounded by loved ones on May 15th, 2023 at the age of 92.
Alicia was born in Mexico City on December 20th, 1930, the second child of Manuel Solis and Emigdia Muñoz. Graduated High School in Mexico City and went to work as a secretary for a local small business. She later met and married Jorge F. Bravo and became a Mother on May 16th, 1960 to her only son Juan Ramon Solis Bravo. Alicia, Jorge and their son moved to Tijuana, Mexico in 1964 and were granted permanent residency in San Diego, California in 1966. Alicia worked at the Harbor Island Sheraton Hotel as a Housekeeper Supervisor from 1976-1992. Once she retired she enjoyed knitting, taking walks around downtown San Diego and spending time with her family.
