Ellie was the first woman at the crash site of San Diego’s 1978 PSA Flt. 182 air disaster. She went right to work, directing Navy Recruits and Priests... it was too much for too many them, but Ellie was there all day. She took over that day as she did over the years at Doctors Hospital, rocking the little ones, as they passed.
She was the beloved matriarch of our family, and a source of great joy to her friends. Ellie was incredibly loved and will be sadly missed. “See you at the CASINA”!
