Alma Aurora Gonzalez's Obituary
Alma Aurora Gonzalez was born on April 12th , 1933 and entered the gates of heaven on October 13th, 2022. She was born in Mexico and came to the U.S. looking for a place to call home. She eventually found her home here in San Diego and set her roots. She lived her best life and established a family here during her sixty years she graced us with her presence. She was well respected and loved by all who met her. She was a loving daughter, friend, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and had the honor of becoming a great-great grandmother. She was one to give her life to her family as she raised 14 children of her own. From those branches each one created their own family with the values Alma taught them. The family consists of 58 grandchildren, 122 great-grandchildren, and 26 great-great grandchildren. The roots that she planted became this amazing tree that has watched over us and protected us from the elements in life. Now we can picture this tree, sit under it, and relive the amazing memories that she gave us. These memories can help us guide us through tough times, make us smile and share our eternal love we have for Alma. Alma was her name, but those who knew her called her Ama. She may be gone but she lives in every single one of us, so she will live on for eternity. May she rest in eternal peace and watch over us all.
