Amador Castaneda's Obituary
Celebrating the life of Amador Castaneda. He was born on September 23, 1930 in Huitzila Zacatecas Mexico to António Castaneda and Luciana Carlos. No matter what challenges came his way he always had a can-do attitude. He was the type of person that if he didn’t know something it would not hold him back. Even though He attended school for a year he taught himself how to read and write. He was not limited by his education. At a young age he left his home in search of a better life. He would always find a way of getting things done. He built his own homes, worked on his cars, and provided as best as he could for his 8 children. He married, and was with for over 68 years, the love of his life Eva Razo. He always stood up for what he believed. He marched with Cesar Chavez in efforts to gain better working conditions for farm workers. When he was not working he would spend what little time with the family. At work he would always be listening to his AM radio that he kept in his shirt pocket. Songs from Pedro Infante or George Negrete and of course his Padres Base Ball games whenever they were playing. He is survived by His Wife Eva Castaneda and his 8 Children Abigail, Amador Jr., Eva, Irene, Maggie, Antonio, Abraham, and Pedro as well as 22 Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren.
