SILVA-FLORES, AMANDA ROSE's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Amanda Silva-Flores
September 19, 2002–March 29, 2025
Profound sadness fills our hearts, as we announce the passing of our beloved Amanda Silva-Flores, who left this world far too soon at the young age of 22.
Amanda was a radiant light in the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a beautiful, loving, and goal-oriented young woman, whose ambition and determination inspired those around her. From an early age, she carried herself with grace, purpose, and a heart full of compassion.
Amanda shared a rare and beautiful bond with her older brother, “Albie”. Their connection was one of deep understanding, built on years of laughter, comfort, and unconditional love. Though she was younger, her gentle spirit and big heart uplifted him in ways few could, creating a relationship that will always be a part of him.
Amanda was known for her kindness, thoughtful and respectful nature, her ability to light up a room, sense of humor, and nurturing personality. She treasured her friendships. She had a passion for family time, music, traveling, and helping others. She worked hard to achieve her goals, always living in the present and looking forward to the future.
Music was an essential part of who Amanda was. She had a beautiful soulful voice, was creative with the keyboard, and even taught herself to play the ukulele. While she occasionally shared her musical gifts in public, she most often kept this part to herself. Performing in front of others sometimes made her nervous, but those closest to her were blessed to experience the true gift of her voice and talent. Amanda was also a songwriter at heart, composing her own music and writing songs that reflected her thoughts, emotions, and unique spirit.
Amanda leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience. Her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind, and her memory will be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.
Amanda is survived by her mother, Marianne Silva-Flores; her father, Albert Flores Jr.; and brother, Albert Silva-Flores. She will also be dearly missed by her extended family, friends, and everyone whose lives she graced.
As we remember Amanda, we also hold close the beautiful love she shared with her boyfriend, Abraham Arana, who passed away alongside her. Their love was filled with tenderness and encouragement for each other. Their deep connection touched everyone who knew them. We find peace in knowing their souls journeyed together into a place of eternal light and love.
“Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near; still loved, still missed, and very dear.”
