Andrea Jane Broach's Obituary
After a near death 4 years ago Andrea Jane Broach never gave up. She never complained maintained a brave outlook and generally cheerful attitude while being hospitalized for the entire time. She continued to be a mother and grandmother to the very end.She died at Paradise Valley Hospital on October 31st.Andrea was born in 1951 in San Diego, CA, the daughter of William and Josephine Heppard. Andrea traveled many times in her life as her father was a Commander in the U.S. Navy. Upon one of the many moves in the 70’s, orders from the U.S. Navy stationed the family in Corpus Christi,Texas where Andrea was eventually married a military man Gary Broach and gave birth to her only son Casey Broach in 1977.Andrea remained married to Gary for 10 years before returning back home to San Diego, CA where she lived the majority of her life. Andrea was active in church groups, family outings and surrounded by circles of friends for many years before her health began to decline. She was very devotional christian and read the bible almost daily. She also found enjoyment in writing personal notes and letters to those closest to her, music and shopping with her mother.Andrea is survived by her son Casey and two grandchildren Bryson and Ensley Broach. She is also survived by her mother Josephine Heppard and brother David Heppard of San Diego, CA and several fond nieces and nephews.
