Angel Diaz's Obituary
Angel Diaz
Born October 1, 1946
Died October 1, 2025
Death is nothing at all - I have only slipped away into the next room. Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effort. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was; there is absolutely unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near just around the corner. All is well. Nothing is past, nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before -- only better, infinitely happier and forever -- we will all be one together with Christ.
Angel Diaz, born in Ajijic, Jalisco, Mexico, passed away on his birthday, October 1, 2025, at the age of 79.
A beloved resident of California and Arizona, Angel was a skilled mechanic, realtor, small businessman, and Arizona Corrections Officer. He had a tireless work ethic and a deep sense of dedication in everything he did.
Angel enjoyed staying informed on current events and expressed his creativity through music, especially on the piano. He was often seen with a pen in his shirt pocket and a pad of paper in hand, always ready to jot down an idea or a thought.
He loved his family dearly and he is already deeply missed.
God’s Garden
God looked around his garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful.
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering.
He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb so he closed your weary eyelids and whispered “Peace be thine “
It broke our hearts to lose you. You didn't go alone for part of us went with you the day God called you home.
