I was best friends with Angela's sister Jennie growing up. We lived across the street. I really enjoyed listening to Angela playing the piano. She was so good. She played The Elephant Walk & The Entertainer. I loved it so much I taught myself how to play the same songs but I wasn't nearly as good as her. Angela's mom went through so much losing her husband, then Jennie, then Angela and then Bobby. She was an excellent mother and Angela was a great daughter. I look forward to being reunited with all of them again one day.

Seeing the news of your passing has truly saddened me. Although we had lost touch years ago, I very fond memories of playing guitar & singing with you in Holy Family’s 9 a.m. folk mass. You had such a beautiful voice. I’m saddened that as a teacher you had so much more to give.

Ms Burks, I had you as a teacher at SOJ way back in the early 90’s. I used to help you during lunch and I loved that you had reptiles and amphibians for us to look at and learn about. Thanks to you, I have passed this love of reptiles and amphibians to my oldest son. I am saddened that we have lost a person that had the ability to touch so many lives. Rest in peace.
