Ann Farrell's Obituary
Ann Farrell, age 97, passed away peacefully on Thursday 11/07/2024, at Scripps Mercy Chula Vista. She was born on 8/5/1927, in Chicago, Illinois to Frederick and Anne Steffens. She was a resident of San Diego for 50 years with a 10 year break when she moved to Temecula. Before living in San Diego she lived in Alaska, Texas, France, Virginia, Sacramento, Massachusetts, Illinois, Maryland and Japan.
She worked for the federal government as an administrative assistant for over 40 years. One of her fondest memories was while working at Great Lakes Naval Base discharging military personnel after the end of WWII. Her hobbies have always been bowling where she picked up the 7-10 split and won multiple trophies, sewing dresses and pants and the love of animals and the San Diego Padres. She donates to many charities that take care of neglected/abused animals.
Ann is survived by her son Daniel (Carla), her grandchildren Arielle, Jacob and Ash as well as her sister Mary Lou and brother Bob. And many nieces and nephews and her cat Sophie
