Ann Feliciano's Obituary
Ann Feliciano passed away in Chula Vista, California, on the morning of March 24, 2023. Ann was born August 2, 1949, in the seaside town of Paul do Mar on the island of Madeira, to her parents Horacio Marino Nunes and Maria Albertina Nunes, and was the eldest of five children.
Her father Horacio immigrated to San Diego in 1960, and Ann came with the rest of her family in January 1963, where they settled in Point Loma.
Ann married Joe Feliciano in November 1968. In June 1970, her first daughter Christina was born and in February 1974, she had her second daughter, Denise. Ann was very proud of her Portuguese heritage. She loved to participate in the Romarias, watching the annual Festa and in 1995 was Festa President. Much like her father, Ann enjoyed spending time in her garden – saying it was her “therapy”. She would do anything for her family and adored her grandchildren. Ann was a loving daughter, sister, mother, wife, aunt, grandmother, and friend, and her personality is truly unforgettable.
Ann is survived by her daughters, Christina and Denise, grandchildren Danielle, Chad and Jamal, her sister Tina, brothers John and Marc. Ann will forever be missed yet never forgotten by her family and friends. May she rest in eternal peace as she joins her father, mother, and brother Joe.
Our family asks in lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
