Anne Rose Martens' Obituary
Anne Rose Martens passed away on Monday December 5th – she was 96. Anne lived quite a full life. A New York native, “Annie”, as she was affectionately called, moved to Long Beach, California in 1958. As a military wife, she and her family settled in the San Diego area in 1962. Anne spent a number of years working as a librarian at Lincoln Acres Elementary School in National City. She truly loved her job and her students. She was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Kieran Catholic Church in El Cajon. She was loved by many and will be forgotten by none.She is preceded in death by her husband Bob and daughter Regina. She is survived by Son, Hank, his wife Donna, Grandson Andrew and Granddaughters Katie and Lisa.A Nicheside Memorial Service for Anne Martens will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
