Ardy Chadwick's Obituary
Ardy Chadwick Jr. was born on November 14,1932 in Jackson, Mississippi to Ardy Chadwick Sr. and Paralee Michael Chadwick. He went to Lanier High School and proceeded to enlist in the United States Navy in 1952. In 1956, Ardy met the love of his life Ms. Ruby Lee Calhoun. They were married soon after in Yuma, AZ. in 1957. They spent the early years of their marriage living in the Philippines and from their union came two children: Ardy D. Chadwick and Anthony L Chadwick.
Ardy served his country courageously for 30 years and retired as a Chief Petty Officer. He then began a successful second career as an entrepreneur and created a janitorial business he named Chadwick & Sons Janitorial. Ardy loved hunting, camping, and fishing. However, cooking was his true passion and he was an excellent chef! He also enjoyed traveling and exploring new destinations with his wife in their RV.
Ardy Chadwick accepted Christ at a young age. He believed in service and was highly involved with his community church, serving as a trustee at Church Of The Living God. He later became a member of Good Samaritan Church where he served as a Deacon.
Ardy was a believer in family and legacy. On February 17, 2024, he completed his service and was called home at the age of 91. He is survived by his wife Ruby Chadwick, two sons Ardy Chadwick, Anthony Chadwick and daughter- in- law Adrienne Chadwick; seven grandchildren: Brandy Chadwick, Phylicia Chadwick, Penny Chadwick, Ashanti Chadwick, Precious Chadwick, Ashley Glover, Quentin Chadwick; thirteen great- grandchildren: Brianna Louis, Travon Louis, Salena Louis, Ziyree Patterson, Ai'Yonna Chadwick, Jaheim Harrison,
Anaya Corsey, Zoey Sperry, Brandon Moore Jr., Aiden Chadwick, Jasmine Sperry, Xavier Dae, Khyro Fisher; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Ardy Chadwick was preceded in death by both parents, two brothers and two sisters.
