With a 9th grade education, he became a business owner, owning his own thriving landscaping company for over 30 years. He pursued his passion of owning horses and being outdoors enjoying nature, living a life of a traditional Mexican vaquero. Armando was a man that made sure his family did not lack any of the essentials. His surviving children shared about their father, he was a grand man and a high example of a father as well as a friend. He was stubborn and hard-nosed and did things his own way while caring for his family. He was a true cowboy at peace on his horse and in the outdoors, He was our teacher in his own way and was a pillar for his family. Even though he was a strict hard-ass and could be scary we all knew he loved us and wanted us to learn the right tools for a happy and successful life. He provided support and encouragement in times of need and his wisdom and mentoring always guided us from a very young age. With his iron will, he never backed down and was always determined in all aspects of his life. His creativeness as a master gardener allowed him to connect with the earth to find peace, and with his outgoing personality and silent moments, he taught us how to enjoy sports, nature and books. His wife Petra shared about Armando, you always were and forever will be the love of my life. Together we raised a beautiful family. Even though we had many obstacles along the course of our lives we always knew how to overcome them and continue forward with our life together and I know we will be together once again in the hereafter.May you rest in peace
