A TRUE FRIEND Kind, helpful, caring and giving are a few words to describe my friend…a wonderful person with an infectious laugh. When I called after leaving SD she would respond: Bessye it’s so good to hear your voice. At the end of our conversation she would say: I love you. So Arquilla for the last time: I LOVE YOU, TOO!!
Arquilla was a delight with whom to work and teach. She loved her students and was a pleasant coworker. Her laugh and smile was contagious.
