Audre P. Howser's Obituary
Audre Howser was born on Sept. 23, 1932 to Arthur and Edna Provost. She was born and raised in San Diego, California and remained there her entire life. She graduated from Hoover High School in 1950. She studied at San Diego State University until an unfortunate accident in June of 1952 in Rosarito Beach, Mexico (at age 20) which shortened her college ambitions. She was a member of Job’s Daughters, Alpha Phi Sorority and Zlac Rowing Club.Audre married Robert Howser in June of 1954. They had 2 children, daughter Pamela (married to John Davis) and son John. She became a widow in Feb. of 1960. She was a typist for an insurance office at the time and continued working and raising her 2 children. She eventually married twice more with her second marriage giving her a second daughter, Sharon (married to Chad Thompson).Some of her hobbies included shooting pool in league play, traveling with friends, and spending time at the beach each year with friends.She was blessed with 4 grandsons, Louie, Noah, Cody & Bob; as well as 3 granddaughters, Jennifer, Haley & Noelle. Audre was also blessed to have one great-grandson, Ryder. She cherished all of the fun times spent with family and friends. Audre passed peacefully in her own home on Oct. 2, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
