Miss Aurora a chance to meet you several times over the years but you were always so very kind to me and let me crash at your place while I was in town. I know you were very sweet woman and you are missed tremendously by your loved ones.
Today is a pretty hard day. I do miss my Grandmother! My Grandmother has been my inspiration and my strength. She was challenged with many difficulties throughout her life, she has always been a fighter. She was one of the original Rosie the Riveters, working for Ryan Aircraft. While there, she was trapped in one of the planes and was burned very badly and almost died. I am not sure if it was that experience, or whether it was just in her, but she had a love for life and a passion for fun. I look back with regret and gratitude, I would say the only thing that my Grandma and I ever had differences about was the guys that I was with! I have to admit now, 98% of the time she was right!! Her departure has left such a void in my life and my heart is truly broken, life will never be the same! I love you Grandma!
