My grandpa was a very ambitious person. I cannot thank him enough for the life he has given my family and I to settle here in the states. I never understood how difficult it was to be an immigrant until I got older, and I am so grateful for my grandparents being able to achieve the American dream. They have set a foundation for us to use for us to succeed.
I remember my grandpa as a vibrant person. he was always there for us when we needed something, and took care of my brother and i- as well as my cousins when we were babies.
My grandpa took us fishing all the time, would sing songs, and let me play with his hair and pretend to give him a haircut.
Although he is gone, my grandpas spirit and ambition reflects through his kids, and his grandchildren. He will be remembered through us.
