Barbara Anne Evans' Obituary
Obituary for Barbara ‘Bobbi’ Evans January 6, 1938 – November 5, 2017There are no weeds in heaven, and the flowers are perpetually in bloom. Bobbi is one of the few that will get to know two versions of heaven; the first was living in Valley Center with her beloved husband Bob, the second is being reunited with the love of her life in an eternal garden. She is now free to garden all day, read book after book and snuggle up to Bob with their dogs right at their side. Left to miss her beautiful smile, gracious loving heart and crazy wit are her daughters Lisa (Tim) Whitebread-Alls, Julie (Jeff) Meyers, her sons Robert Whitebread II, Steve Whitebread, her stepsons Denis Evans, Gary (Jayne) Evans, Stephen (JoAnn) Evans, Scott Evans, her sister Phoebe DaVault, twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two and a half great-great-grandchildren and the many loving friends she has made along her journey. She is happily joining Bob as they visit those that went before; her parents Duncan and Helen DaVault, Ellen DaVault, her brother David and his wife Diane, her great-great-granddaughter Mallie among many other friends and family members. Yes we lost a great one far too soon, but take solace in knowing she’s tiling up the land and creating the best garden any of us hope to see. We love you Bobbi, now go get your hands dirty! In lieu of flower or gifts, Bobbi would appreciate a donation in the Evans name to either the Dos Valley Garden Club (PO Box 123 Valley Center, CA 92082) or the San Diego County Library (https://dbpcosdcsgt.co.san-diego.ca.us/iii/ecom/donate.do).
