Beatrice Wiles Keller's Obituary
Beatrice Wiles Keller was born in Fishertown, Oklahoma, on September 21, 1923, to parents Loyd and Anna Dunegan.
She was the eldest of four children. Her siblings Kenneth, Ann, and Harold predeceased her. She married Newton Oneal Wiles in 1942. They settled in San Diego following his discharge from the Navy. She remained a county resident for the rest of her life. He passed away in January of 1976. In 1996 she married Warren Keller. They were married until his death in 2008.
Bea worked for more than seventy years in the escrow field at Allison-McCloskey Escrow Company, where she served as the manager and Vice President. She was an active member of Shadow Mountain Community Church for 32 years where she sang in the choir, worked in the music office, and led women’s Bible studies. She leaves a legacy of faith and optimism for her children, Roger Wiles (Jane) and Myrna Davis, seven grandchildren Statia Wiles, Jack Wiles, Sarah Wiles, John Wiles (Sarah Beth), Tobin Davis (Lynette), Jordan Davis, and Garrison Davis (Britt), and eight great grandchildren, Emma Davis, Jackson Davis, Jonathan Davis, Andrew Davis, Ellie Wiles, Scout Davis, Kenzie Davis, and Harper Davis. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and family, including nieces Pam Hart, Kathleen Poor, LizAnn Dunegan, and nephew Mike Morgan. A celebration of her life will be held at Shadow Mountain Community Church on Saturday, September 13 at ten o’clock. The service will also be streamed for viewing at https://shadowmountain.org.
