Beatriz Amelia De La Torre's Obituary
Beatriz De la Torre was born in Tecoman Colima, Mexico on August 14, 1931. She was the youngest of eleven children. At the age of 19, she got married and moved to Ciudad Juarez, Jalisco Mexico. Later she and her husband moved to Tijuana Baja California with their daughter. In 1960, they decided to move to San Diego, California with now six children. Beatriz was a great homemaker, mother, and wife. She was the greatest cook; she was always cooking for her family and friends. She was well known for her delicious tamales, teaching her family and friends how to make them. She was very active in her church choir. She belonged to "Club Familiar de San Diego" a club that did charity work. She along with her husband were great gardeners. Their garden at home was paradise, you would find the most beautiful, colorful flowers and every fruit tree you could imagine. Her Family was her treasure looking out for them even after they were all grown up. She will be greatly missed by everyone . All her Family, her 6 children, 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and all her countless friends. Thank you, mom, for always being there for us
Until we meet again in Gods garden. We love you.
