Benito Osuna Sanchez's Obituary
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our great-uncle Benito Osuna Sanchez this February 12, 2021 in San Diego county. He was widowed and survived by his children, Jorge Rivas Sanchez, Mark Sanchez, Alicia Sanchez, and Gerardo Sanchez. He was the last of a generation of 14 brothers and sisters all musicians. His love for music is what kept his spirit will into his late 80s. He played several instruments but his "favorito" was the trumpet. He lived by his own rules and as a musician, traveled the world with many artists of the 50s like Perez Prado and Xavier Cugat. Tio Benny, you will be missed! Services will be held via streaming platform at a later date.
