It is with profound sadness that we bid farewell to Bernabe Josue Yamane who left this earth in peace on July 19, 2023. He is both the loved and loving brother, father, grandfather, and great grandfather to those who survive him. He was born 95 years ago in Dagupan City, Philippines to Emerenciana Josue and Yasomoto Yamane. He grew up in Dagupan with his family of three brothers and two sisters. In 1957, he married Felipa S. Cisnero with whom he had five children. In 1968, he immigrated along with his family to San Diego, California where he built a successful practice as a CPA. He was a devout practicing Catholic including a stint as a Eucharistic Minister. He enjoyed spending quality time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren who lovingly called him “Papa.” He will be remembered for his gracious nature, compassion, and amazing smile.
