Bev (my 2nd MOM) had strengths that amazed us all throughout the years. She could bear hardships and carry burdens, but at the same time she could hold happiness, love and joy in her heart. She could smile when she wanted to scream, she could sing when she wanted to cry. She would cry when she was happy and laugh when she was nervous or stressed. She would fight for what she believed in and would stand up to injustice & not take “no” for an answer when she believed there was a better solution. She was willing to go without things so her friends and kids and grandkids could have things better. She even would go to the doctor with a frightened friend or child for moral support and be there as a big sister or Mother to comfort them. She was able to love unconditionally and cheer when her friends or one of kids would get an award or was having a good experience with life. She was always happy when she heard about a birth or a wedding. Her heart would break when a friend died and grieved at the loss of a friend’s family member, yet she was always reminding them to be strong when they would think there was no strength left. She reminded us that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart or a pain full of disappointment. She reminded us that people come in all shapes, sizes and colors and not to be too judgmental. She would drive, fly, walk, run or call you to show how much she cares about you when you were down. The heart of this woman was what makes the World keep turning with joy, hope and love, compassion with positive Spiritual ideas to give moral support to us all. She always had vital things to say and her actions showed us all every day that she had everything to give for the right reasons. I just want her to know – HOW VALUABLE SHE WAS TO US ALL.
