Bill White's Obituary
William “Bill” Pearce White was born December 14, 1924 in Bellefontaine, Ohio and moved to San Diego at a young age where he lived and grew up in Ocean Beach. He graduated from Point Loma High School and then joined the Marines where he served as a member of the First Marine Raiders. He served in both WWII and the Korean War, and later worked for San Diego Gas & Electric for 38 years where he retired as a gas line supervisor. Bill enjoyed building and flying replica model airplanes. He was predeceased in 1981 by his wife, Dorothy. He is survived by his brother, Jim White of La Mesa and Jim’s children, and will be remembered by his many close friends.
