Borin Van's Obituary
Borin Van, 75, peacefully passed away on March 17, 2023, at her home in San Diego, California. She was born on September 14, 1948 in Cambodia to the late Lee Van, Samouth and Po, Mao. Borin was a beloved wife to her one and only love of over 50 years, Chhoeuth Som; devoted mother of Malika, Virakpol (and Sheona), Khemara, Khema (and Sara), and Marina; doting grandmother of Morgan, Malia, Vivian, CJ, and Veronica; dear aunt of Tilly, Jessica, Christopher, and Bryan; and loving sister of Yun and Many.
Our mother was an animal and nature lover. She was gentle, kind, compassionate, nurturing, and humble, always thinking of others before herself. She will forever be missed by all those that she has touched, and will never be forgotten.
