PROCTOR, BRENDA LANE's Obituary
Brenda Lane Proctor, the reigning queen of Kensington, 86, passed away on Monday August 25th, 2025, at her beloved home in San Diego, CA. Brenda was born on February 11th, 1939, in Blytheville, AR, to Jack and Samye (Damron) Parker. Brenda graduated from Pasadena Nazarene College, where she majored in Psychology and Music. She was known for her big personality, leadership, and love of religion, trees, flowers, gardening, music, culture, and travel. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Samye Lou Parker, as well as her eldest daughter Pamela Danelle Zietlow and is survived by her daughter Kimberly Samene Rice (and spouse Francis Patrick "Frank" Rice), son Keith Brendan Proctor (and his spouse Nancy "Colleen" Proctor), as well as her beloved cousins Elsa Taylor, Pat O'Connell, Bucky Parker, Dickie Parker, her six grandchildren, Asher Lane Proctor, Joseph Anthony Jack Rice, Samantha Grace McQuaid, Autumn Rose Proctor-Zhuk, Iris Michelle Zietlow, Jasmine Alexandra Zietlow, and four great-grandchildren Victoria Colleen Vensel, Lainey Rose Vensel, Anastasia Lee Proctor, and Hazel Nadine Proctor-Zhuk. Brenda will be loved and missed by all.
