Brittaney Lauren ClemmonsBorn May 4, 1986Charleston, South CarolinaPassed away April 2, 2018San Diego, California Brittaney was the daughter of Phillip Mayle and Karen Clemmons. She was a graduate from San Diego Charter High School. She graduated from San Diego City College with her associate’s degree in Child Development and a teaching certificate. Her latest accomplishment was earning her bachelor’s degree in English Literature summa cum laude honors at Grand Canyon University. Upon her passing, Brittaney had just begun her graduate courses in Christian Counseling at Grand Canyon University. She is survived by her mother and father, beloved grandmother Mrs. Gertie V. Clemmons, her aunts and uncles, several nieces, nephews, siblings, and cousins. She was also a longtime member of the City of Faith Family Worship Center located in San Diego, California under Bishop W.E. Brooks. Brittaney was also a poet, and she enjoyed teaching young children professionally and in church. We will really miss our precious Brittaney forever.
