Bruce Gordon Klevmoen's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Bruce Gordon Klevmoen
June 10th, 1939 – March 10th, 2025
With deep love and gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Bruce Gordon Klevmoen, who departed this world peacefully on March 10th, 2025 at the age of 85. A man of remarkable vision, boundless energy, and unshakable faith, he leaves behind a legacy that spans generations and industries.
Born in 1939, Bruce lived a life full of ambition and adventure. He became a father at just 16 and went on to raise nine children, welcoming his youngest at the age of 46. Family was the heartbeat of his life, and he took immense pride in each of his children, passing on to them not only his work ethic but his compassion and sense of humor.
A true entrepreneur from a young age, Bruce co-owned an airplane and ran a mink farm among many other ventures. But it was in the death care industry that he found his calling—and helped many others find theirs. He became a respected and well-known figure in the field, mentoring countless individuals, many of whom owe their careers to his guidance. His legacy lives on in the family members, including many of his own children, who followed him into the profession.
Those who knew him will remember his unmistakable hum, his sweet tooth, and his joyful conversations with just about everyone he met—often to the embarrassment of his kids, who eventually learned that their dad truly never met a stranger. His warmth and friendliness made him a cherished presence wherever he went.
More than anything, Bruce was a man of faith. He began each day reading his Bible and walked closely with Jesus. His deep spiritual conviction and daily devotion were the cornerstone of who he was.
He is survived by his nine children, numerous grandchildren, and the many friends, colleagues, and mentees who loved and admired him.
A service to honor his life and legacy will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park on Saturday, May 31st at 1:00 pm. We welcome all who knew him to join us in celebrating a truly remarkable life.
