Sometimes people come into your life for a moment, a day, or lifetime. It matters not the time they spent with you but how they impacted your life in that time. That’s what you did. You impacted my life in a way I never imagined. It’s been hard knowing that we won’t share anymore laughs, or sitting down to just talk. Losing you has been harder than I thought. Now those are just memories that I will always cherish. You’ll never know how much you really meant to me. I’m just sorry that I never got the chance to tell you. Love you Buddy!

Dad, I really never got to tell you that you were the best daddy in the world. You worked so hard and did without just so I could have. You taught me right from wrong and raised me the best way you knew how. I look back and wish I had told you so many things but I know you knew how I felt. It’s been so hard going from seeing you everyday and now only having memories of those days. I wish you were still here but I know it was time for you to go. I know you said you didn’t want to leave me, but don’t worry about me, I’ll be ok because I had you as my life teacher and I know I’ll get by just fine. I love you daddy and please know you made my life great and I can’t thank you enough for all you did and I thank God for making you my dad!

Hey Buddy, did I ever tell you, you were my Hero? Probably not… but you were my big brother. As a kid I always looked up to you. You always had the coolest cars and the best looking girlfriends too! You would come home from a date with lipstick all over your face and I would think “I want to be just like him when I grow up.” When you came home from boot camp in the Army they must have fed you really good because you looked larger than life to your little brother. I want to thank you for buying my first car. I know you didn’t think it was that big a deal, but that meant the world to me. Then when I got my 2nd car you sprayed it with the best paint job ever, making me have the coolest car in Lomita Village. Yes, you were my Hero. Even when I was angry with you, I never stopped loving you. We drifted apart in our later years, but I’m happy we made our peace before you had to leave cause you’ll always be my Hero. Rest In Peace Big Brother.
