Sending healing prayers and comfort during this difficult time.
Our deepest sympathies from the Aguilar family.
I'm so sorry to hear that my friend is no longer on this Earth, but simultaneously comforted to know she is at peace.
Back in the day, Candy was our Miramar walk leader -- we referred to her as "Cap'n Carter" because she could always find the right words to motivate us after a long day of work to shake it off, get out into nature, and move! I can remember many times when I did not want to go all of the way around the lake -- but Cap'n Carter would buck me up and keep me going.
Thanks for being my motivation buddy, Cap'n Carter. I will be thinking of you whenever I need to overcome an obstacle. Memories of your friendship and leadership will keep me going all the way!

My mother brought Candy home from the hospital when I was 12, and I instantly adored her. I loved caring for her, meticulously combing her hair, dressing her up, and proudly showing her off. In my eyes, she was a living doll. She captivated me so much that I told people she was my child when I took her for a stroll in her stroller. Our mother quickly put a stop to that.
Candy, my baby doll, became a quiet example of strength beyond measure. She was my sister and friend, loving, thoughtful, fun, and generous. We shared laughter, tears, memories, and love.
I loved her for all her life, and I will miss her for the rest of my life.
