I had the pleasure of working with Carlos in the early 90's at Southern Division. Although I was technically his supervisor during a portion of that time, he never needed supervision. In fact, I relied on him to keep a senior officer (whom he worked alongside with at the Southern Division Storefront) out of trouble. Those were great times and I have very fond memories of Carlos both on the job and on the softball field! My condolences to Carlos' family, Ray Stachnik San Diego PD (retired)
