Carlos Alberto Vazquez's Obituary
Carlos Alberto Vazquez, was born on June 28, 1970 in San Diego, California. His parents Concepcion and Alfredo Vazquez, had two daughters, Josie and Concha, and desired a son, so he came as a beautiful surprise when he was born.
By the age of two, his intelligence was noted as exceptional.
Carlos was a kind and creative boy and was very loved by all of his family. He loved telling stories and jokes to make people laugh and he had a laugh that was contagious.
When he was young, one of his uncles taught him one time how to paint and that turned out to be what he would later go on to do as a profession.
He loved and married Norma Ramirez in San Diego, together they had two sons, Carlos and Benjamin, whom he adored.
Carlos enjoyed going fishing with his two sons on all the piers in San Diego, listening to his oldies, and really enjoyed buying lottery tickets and scratching them with the boys to see how much they got. That was a huge thing for them to do together.
During his last days, he really got into his faith and into reading his bible.
I thank God for the last eight months of my son’s life. We were very close, speaking of the word of God and the power that fills us with hope and strength for this life.
One day in February, he told me when we were talking about this verse:
“Jesus said to him: I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, even if he is dead, he will live. And everyone who lives and believes in me will not die forever. Do you believe this?”
S. John 11:25-26.
We understand that our bodies remains here as a memory for our loved ones, and what God gave us, the spirit, returns to God so that the spirit will not die.
Carlos Alberto will forever be missed yet never forgotten. May he rest in eternal peace.
