Carmen Phruksukarn's Obituary
San Diego, CA – Carmen Phruksukarn, resident of La Mesa, CA passed away on Sunday the 19th of February at Le Jardin Guest Home in La Mesa, CA.Born 1950 in Mexicali, Baja California, Carmen has been a dutiful provider of warm welcome and care since a young age when she was responsible for raising her younger sisters and brother. She immigrated to San Diego, CA while in high school and sought to pursue greater opportunities in life. She never accepted that she could not achieve more, and despite many hurdles in her life, she finished school, raised two sons, became an American citizen, owned her own home, and had a successful career in public health. While she was successful at any task she embarked upon, her true source of pride was her family…especially her grandchildren.Carmen had the ability to make everyone feel at ease, and she was truly loved and appreciated by all who had the chance to know her. She touched the lives of many, often in profound ways, but her humble nature often left these great actions unknown. She is survived by her husband, Pairote; sons, Paul and Adrian; and grandchildren, Aria, Isaiah, and Caleb.A memorial service will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park’s Garden Chapel on March 6, 2017 at 10:00 am.
