So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I have fond memories of her and Seymour and of us as children. Adrienne Torgeson Swanberg
Words cannot express the integral part Aunt Carmen played in my life, and what she meant to me. On the lighter side, she gave me a love of shoes; a disdain for cigarette smoke, and taught me how to be a good driver (just by watching her). On the significant side, she taught me about endurance; tenacity; loyalty and tough-love. She was there for my Mom, when my Mom Lupe became too ill to take care of herself. Aunt Carmen and Uncle Seymour (her loving husband) helped keep the darkness at bay, and gave my fearful little heart comfort, when my Mom needed help. My Mom and Aunt Carmen were very close as sisters, and although they had their disagreements, they shared a bond of Love and Sisterhood that surmounted their differences….A loving Aunt; Sister; Mother; Wife and Grandmother. I will ALWAYS be incredibly grateful for having such a strong; committed and beautiful Aunt and, I know the Lord will light the Path for her, and all the Loved Ones who have passed before her, for all Eternity. God Bless!!
Thank you for you thoughtful words and recognition of our mother's life. Diann Knowles
