Carol Ann Smith, of San Diego, CA, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025, at age 74.
Carol was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. Born at Charity Hospital, April 15, 1951.
In her lifetime, Carol was defined by her devotion to her Family, Friends, Sewing, and Cooking. She loved spending time with her friends and family, and the dinner table was always a place of laughter and love. She spent her free time sewing and enjoying a good book. Carol’s exuberant spirit was evident to all who knew her.
Carol is survived by her children, Kenya Harden, Sheneka Smith; her grandchildren, Ravon Robinson, Marcus McQueen, Monique McQueen, Robert McQueen, Maryann Johnson, Madison Johnson; by her great grandchildren, Johnathan, Kendrick, Marllie, Jakiah, Aleena, Leanna, Karter, Ryelle, Milo, Kingston; and her sisters, Rhonda Smith, Donna Marie Smith; brothers, Ronald Smith, Leroy Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sedonia Smith and Pernell Smith.
