Catalina Alvarez, born May 29, 1934, passed away on August 14, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was the cherished mother of five children: Javier, Miguel, Manuel, Rosa Irene, and Maria, and the proud grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 17. Catalina's love for her husband was only rivaled by her love for her family, whom she delighted with home-cooked meals. She found joy in singing Pedro Infante songs, sipping iced coffee from 7-Eleven, and indulging in her favorite junk foods, especially French fries. Catalina had a green thumb and a heart full of faith, praying the rosary every night and staying active in her church group. With a selfless spirit, she lovingly cared for her brother Chava throughout his life. Her kindness, devotion, and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
