We fondly call him "Tatay Boy" when we were kids. Though the Mempin family had to go to US when we're still very young, they are all special to us considering the our house then sit besides each other. Our childhood will not be complete without the memory of Tatay Boy… We're sad to know the physical suffering he had to go through because of cancer, but, hopeful that he was encouraged by the expression of love and care he got in any way – small or big by the people around him. Time flew fast… He is the first person/ relative whom I saw counting his life literally in social media. Our hearts ached… Now, he is already gone… but will always be loved. — Dignadice Family

I didn't know that July 4th 2015 will be the last time that I will see you. It was a memorable weekend because our family (most of us) was there to enjoy Kuya Lito's barbecue and celebrate independence day. Thank you so much for being the best brother-in-law. You're always there to lend a hand whenever I needed some help from carpooling my kids or fixing broken faucets. "When the sunny skies turn from blue to gray, I can't help but wonder just what you would say…I wonder if you knew how many lives you have touched.." Rest in peace Kuya Boy. Cesar Ramos Mempin was a great and loving dad to my niece and nephews. He worked hard to provide for them and was very proud of what they've accomplished. He was the kind of person that always has a smile on his face and very friendly as evidenced by friends he have made in his lifetime. He was looking forward to Christmas and even took pictures of the decorations I put up at mom's house. He didn't want his head shaved when his hair started to fall because he wanted to go to Christmas mass with us. But the Lord called him early to rid him of any physical or emotional pain he might have suffered. We love you and miss you Kuya Boy. May you rest in peace.
